My Company

Creator and Sole Proprietor of Cowgirl Construction, Lauren Sutherland is more than just your average renovator. Having worked in the industry through family ties and other tradespeople for nearly 14 years, Lauren decided that she had a lot more to offer, and five years ago she started Cowgirl Construction.

Although her company is all about designing and renovating, Lauren is defined by how she can improve living spaces for homeowners. She is less motivated about getting a job, and more motivated by enhancing a particular space. Lauren listens to homeowners’ needs and wants, and envisions the potential to create something new and vibrant.

~ My favorite projects are ones that employ a range of skill sets, a mixture of carpentry, design and tile setting. I enjoy problem solving and finding unique solutions for custom issues. In addition I like organizing, creating storage solutions, and even event planning and set up. Staging, decor and curating areas is a fun hobby of mine.

She understands that a renovation or addition is not just an investment in your home – it is also a reflection or your lifestyle and personality that will endure for years to come.

Lauren takes steps to ensure that every project, big or small, is treated with equal care and dedication, and she strives to create a seamless transition from old to new. She is committed to the satisfaction of her clients, and this is what has cemented her position as one of the leaders in this industry. Lauren is also a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America.
